Well, isn't this a coincidence? Two ball animations in the same weekend for the DraZtic webpage? Actually, my 3D Kirby Flame Ball animation was for my Maya computer intro class. This file is for my 2D Animation class. The project was simple enough, just learning the frames of a ball and proper squish and bounce motions. The actual project was to draw the ball, and then capture it into premiere. But because of how strick the prof. is in grading, I decided to add in some "extras" with a cape and a puddle for the ball to splash into. I felt the cape added "something" to the ball. It's a very simple animation yes, but it gets the job done, and once again, I learn the properties of a ball bounce. Definately alot easier than Maya and alot more fun using this method, but it is tedious at times. Especially tracing and adding in details.
