Bio: Paul grew up in Tidewater, Virginia and started boating and fishing as a youth. After attending Virginia Tech and graduating from Old Dominion University in 1970 he worked in the corporate world for three years. Longing to be connected to his passion for yachting he started his yacht sales career in Point Pleasant, New Jersey in 1973. After several years he moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and became one of the first brokers and managers at the original Hatteras of Lauderdale. After great success at Hatteras, he eventually started his own company, Paul Baker Yacht Sales. Paul sold the company and then worked for several yacht builders and other brokerage companies. Paul joined Gilman Yachts in mid-2007 where he feels right at home with many of his former associates. Fishing of all kinds, from Grouper to Blue Marlin, occupies his spare time as well as working on Bahamian Fishing Tournaments.
